I got cheesecake and candies from my boss, and I'm receiving lollipops by the half dozen every time I enter a class today. It is White Day, which is the opposite of Valentine's Day here.
On February 14th in Korea, girls give their boyfriends presents of sugar-laden treats. Today is the day the favor is returned by Korean boys to their girlfriends. The stores are all covered in pretty boxes of chocolates and displays of cheap candy, just like they were on Valentine's Day.
So anyways, Happy White Day to everybody who didn't know it is White Day! Have a chocolate with that excuse!
